Very comfy and keeps me cool while sleeping. I was concerned because the mattress was rated firm and I had been replacing a 10 yr old quite thick, company foam bed mattress that triggered pressure stage pains. After resting on this bed mattress for weekly, I’m sleeping much better without entire body aches(esp. spine discomfort), and it’s really tranquil(no creaking/rustling). It’s firm sufficiently therefore i don’t sink in to the mattress; even though sitting down on the sides. Up to now I absolutely like this mattress. There’s still hook chemical smell, nonetheless it doesn’t bother me. I would recommend this bed mattress.
We received my whole size mattress 2 times ago. I am updating this review as time passes along to be more accurate of course, but for right now… The bed is quite great! My mother enjoys it and barely wakes up when I call her. As someone used to an expensive firm mattress, this bed is usually soft yet supportive. Not a stick in the mud sense either. I am a side sleeper and this has been the way to proceed for me. The cooling properties are very noticeable, although I’m not sure if it’ll matter once a mattress protector and sheets have been added, I’ll let you guys know. I was scared about getting it (as we all say) due to reviews saying it doesn’t inflate fully, but mine basically was there in less than 2 minutes and overnight was complete. My mattress actually is bigger than the bed frame by about 2 inches total ( 1” left & right), which puzzled me since I thought I had the correct measurements before I ordered my bed frame and mattress but it’s not too bad, I can deal with it. Just be prepared if that’s the case. As for smell, it’s not like you’ll die or are being punched in the nose. My mom wasn’t even phased, I noticed though and just let the window up for a bit. It’s not distracting though at all.
First let me say, this sat rolled up in the box it was shipped in for 3 months before I set it up. I did not smell any odor and it expanded to the full 12 inches almost immediately and there were no issues with expansion. I also did not actually sit on it once I unrolled it and collection it up and let it expand for about 65 hours before I made it up and took a nap. I’ve never slept on, nevermind owned a memory foam mattress before and I’ve never bought a mattress online either, but I’m glad I did. I was nervous buying this mattress without trying it first which is typically what I do when I purchase a mattress. But nonetheless I felt comfortable ordering it on Prime Day due to the reviews I read for a couple months prior to purchasing. It is firmer than I thought it would be, but you sink in enough so it’s not too firm. Also due to the memory foam you sink in and moving around is definitely different than a spring coil mattress, and I move around a lot during sleeping as well as getting in and out of bed a lot to let my dog out; so it takes some getting used to if you aren’t familiar with memory foam. Some people have mentioned you can’t sit on the edge of the bed but I disagree, although if you’re sitting on one of the corners you’ll most likely slide off, but on the side of the bed is fine. I’m also a big girl so if someone was going to slide off, it would be me. It took about a week for my body to acclimate to the new mattress so I had some back pain and more tossing and turning than normal that first week, but after the “break-in” period it’s been very comfortable and no back pain. One thing I will say, and to be honest I guessed would be the case, is that I sleep hot. Initially the bed is cool but eventually where you sleep absorbs your body heat and I wake up a lot almost sweaty but I knew this would be a possibility going into this purchase. Regardless of sleeping hot, I am really happy with this mattress and I recommend it.
Initial review a day right after delivery – this mattress is as advertised and for the price you cannot go wrong.
1) it is heavy, so plan on dealing with that.
2) the package it came in (rolled up and vacuum sealed) was beat up but the mattress was protected by heavy plastic and was undamaged.
3) it was opened and unrolled on our bedframe (on the closely spaced slates) and within ten minutes it had transformed to within 90% of its normal shape and size.
4) the mattress is slightly overhanging our framework (at the foot of the mattress) that is no problem for all of us, but take dimensions.
5) it is extremely company but comfortable. The wife cannot rest on a gentle/medium bed mattress, and had been thrilled. I can rest anyplace and was comfy.
6) it had hook odor but nothing at all that kept us from sleeping onto it within 2 hours after un-rolling it. For all those complaining concerning the order, they’re overly sensitive fools.
Definitely love this mattress! I browse the reviews, also it produced me just a little anxious. Nevertheless, I pulled the bed mattress out from the box, and wear it the bedframe. Fortunately, I has been moving away from town for the weekend, therefore the mattress got the required time to fluff up over a few days. However, it appeared as if it had been almost fluffed completely up in a matter of a couple hours.
I have right now been resting upon this mattress for two months, and it’s fabulous! It’s essentially the most comfortable mattress I’ve ever possessed… And that thing a whole lot! It offers lots of support while still becoming very comfortable! It’s super soft, however, not within an unsupportive way. Very comfortable. The cooling pad at the top is nice aswell!
My two sons desperately needed fresh mattresses. Some reviewers said it took a long time, but ours was at full height almost instantaneously. Both boys tested it for a night and said it was comfy. So I ordered a second one three days after ordering the first, but now it was $90 more. Which is why only 4 stars. Was so happy with first purchase, unfortunately the price difference for second was off putting.
